The Time to Love
Only one thing mars Louise's happiness: she is unable to give her husband Eric the child he longs for. When even more dark clouds overshadow Louise, it is Paul, a young Fijian, who brings light back into her life. The fate of these three people intertwines against the background of alluring islands and Tuscan skies. This is the best of romantic fiction, full of surprising events, vivid descriptions of many places, with a tantalising mixture of people and their relationships. 'The Time to Love' invites the reader into a challenging world where the characters reveal their deepest emotions and solutions to many problems.

The Munich Vagabond
Verena Dornbusch has grown up in comfort and luxury, surrounded by people who love her. Rudolf Jäger's life has led him into the gutter, a vagabond. Their paths cross - and secrets come to light. The story is based on a real encounter: 'I would like to tell you my vagabond is real. I met a man just like Rudolf some years ago at the Munich railway station pushing a trolley with all his belongings through the crowds. Günter, my husband and I were on one our lovely European holidays and had to change trains in Munich several times. Each time, this unfortunate man was there. To do something without offending I shared a block of chocolate with him which earned me a very warm smile. He had such a nice intelligent face and I couldn’t help wondering what ill fate let him sink into such destitution. When he was still on my mind when we returned to Melbourne I decided to weave a story around him – as surely he must have had one.' All proceeds from the sale of this book go to the Salvation Army Australia to support their valuable work for people like 'Rudolf'. Published 2017. Light & Shade
In this collection of poems the author has gathered her thoughts and beliefs over many years, mainly as a legacy for her young granddaughters. There are poems that reflect her love for nature, especially the sea. Poetry that explores love and loss, youth and age - even life and death.
'Through your Eyes' was inspired by the critical remark of a good friend which came as total surprise and made Margrit realise at the time, that other people may have quite a different image of us to the one we have of ourselves.
Includes a number of poems in German (with English translation)
